What is the weather usually like in Renmark?

 

The climate classification of the Renmark area is grassland, although we border a region with a desert climate.

 

 

 

 

We live in an area with hot, dry summers and cold winters.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Renmark is in a very dry part of Australia. Our average rainfall is less than 300mm per year.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The average maximum temperature in the middle of summer is greater than 30 degrees Celsius. We normally have 10 days over 35 degrees in January.

The summer of 2004 has been particularly hot with 9 days over 40 degrees with one day reaching 46!

 

 

 

 

In the middle of winter, the average maximum temperature is around 16 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature will drop below 2 degrees on an average of 4 days each July.
